Help the ACLU of Georgia Defeat the Ban on Gender-Affirming Care

We urgently need you to contact your Senator today to STOP the Ban on Gender-Affirming Care.

Tell your legislators to stand with their constituents in opposing the Ban on Gender-Affirming Care, SB 140. Here's some talking points to get you started:

  • SB 140 prevents Georgia's youth from receiving medically necessary and life saving care.
  • The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recognized that gender-affirming care improves the mental health and overall well-being of gender expansive youth.
  • SB 140 legislates medical decisions that are personal and private, decisions that should rest with children and their families.
  • SB 140 also imposes sanctions on hospitals and medical centers for providing gender-affirming care and subjects licensed physicians to medical board violations, civil liability, and criminal charges for administering gender-affirming care.

After your call press the * (star key) to be connected with your next legislator.
