What is the timeline for the scholarship selection?
Applications for the emerging leader scholarships are open. Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis until funding is exhausted. Applicants who are informed that they have not been selected will receive a code to register for Washington Institute at the early-bird rate.

Can two people from the same Section receive the emerging leader scholarship?
In an effort to invest in as many Sections as possible, we can accept up to one emerging leader scholarship recipient per Section. Due to limited funds, every Section is not guaranteed a scholarship.

Why are these scholarships being invested in supporting emerging leaders?
We deeply value our tried and true members who have made amazing contributions to NCJW over the years. Unfortunately, funds for scholarships are limited and can only cover so many scholarships. We made a decision to invest these funds in developing more emerging leaders who can help us grow our movement as they learn from the work of our long-time leaders and become partners in our social justice efforts.

I applied for a scholarship. Should I register now or should I wait until recipients have been selected?
All emerging leadership scholarship applicants who are not selected will be guaranteed the early-bird registration cost. Please wait to register until scholarship recipients have been selected. Applicants who are informed that they have not been selected will receive a code to register for Washington Institute at the early-bird rate.
