2025 Children's Champion Award Nomination Form

VTAEYC is the state's largest membership organization for early childhood educators and the state affiliate of NAEYC, the National Association for the Education of Young Children. As a nonprofit organization formed by a grassroots effort nearly 50 years ago and now with 600+ members, VTAEYC offers professional development and workforce development programs. With a small staff, a dedicated board, and a collaborative approach, VTAEYC aims to meet the needs of today's ECE workforce and create a stronger, more equitable early childhood education system for the future.

The Children's Champion award recognizes the work of an individual, organization, or Vermont government official for their advocacy or voting record which has had a positive impact on young children in Vermont during the previous legislative session. It can be awarded annually or less frequently depending upon the decision of the VTAEYC Board and Executive Director.

You can nominate as many nominees as you'd like, just submit a new form for each nominee. Award nominations will only be accepted from members of VTAEYC+NAEYC. If you are not a member, please visit vtaeyc.org/membership to join.
