Dear President Harris:

As strong supporters of the University of San Diego (USD), we the undersigned students, faculty, employees, alumni, and community members of USD ask you to commit to the following in your collective bargaining with the USD Non-Tenure Track (NTT) Faculty Union: Bargain in good faith by agreeing to a union contract by the end of the 2025 Spring Semester. Agree to a union contract that pays NTT Faculty members a living wage and good benefits. Commit to increased job security for NTT Faculty members to provide them the stability they need to regulate their workload and teach more effectively, as well as plan their schedules and family budgets. We believe that robust worker protections will significantly strengthen the university by allowing USD NTT Faculty members to focus on educating and mentoring students and grow as leaders of our campus community.
