TAKE ACTION: Tell the BLM to cancel plans for the Wyoming Checkerboard roundup!

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) recently announced they will be conducting mass roundups of the Adobe Town, Salt Wells Creek, Great Divide Basin, White Mountain, and Little Colorado wild herds across the Wyoming Checkerboard.

The BLM is planning to remove over 3,500 wild horses from these public lands — leaving just 1,500 wild horses on 4 million acres of land!

For years, the Rock Springs Grazing Association (RSGA) has allowed its members to graze their private livestock on these public lands. And for over a decade, the RSGA has lobbied the federal government for the removal of wild horses from the Wyoming Checkerboard.

We cannot allow the special interests of the RSGA to be the means for the removal of thousands of wild horses from the public lands they call home.

AWHC has been litigating over these horses since 2014 and we continue to challenge the BLM's plan to move forward with these roundups across the Wyoming Checkerboard — starting with comments sent directly to the BLM asking them to halt the planned roundups.

Please take a moment to send the below letter to the BLM and tell them to halt any plans to roundup the horses of the Wyoming Checkerboard.
