Great mystery, I pray to you for miracles,
yes, miracles this morning,
the kind that come from human beings walking carefully
through mud and water for hours,
looking high and low, until they hear a voice and reach out.
I pray for families to be reunited,
for tears and screams of joyful relief to echo across Texas
Please keep our rescue workers and volunteers safe.
May the death toll rise no more.
May families in mourning know they are held in gentle, infinite love.
Be with us as we hope and grieve.
