Why give?
Because the right to legal abortion has never been in greater peril and Maryland has the potential to emerge as a national leader for safe and legal access to abortion and reproductive healthcare. We do this by:
- Ensuring individuals have the full range of sexual and reproductive healthcare services they deserve, including access to comprehensive sex education, birth control, reproductive technology, prenatal care, postpartum support, and safe, legal abortion.
- Advocating for pro-active, pro-choice, pro-abortion legislation, and ensuring all anti-choice legislation is soundly defeated
- Electing pro-choice candidates and defeating anti-choice politicians.
- Mobilizing and building power at the local, state, and federal level to make sure that lawmakers hear from the people they represent.
Because of our effective advocacy work protecting reproductive rights, membership dues and contributions to Pro-Choice Maryland, Inc., a 501(c)4 organization, are not tax-deductible.
