2025 Leadership Conference

July 15 - July 18, 2025

Equality Federation's Leadership Conference (presented by Equality Federation Institute) is an important opportunity for leaders from our state partners, national partners, and major funders to connect, share best practices, and engage with each other on the challenges and opportunities we face in the work ahead.

The main conference begins on Tuesday, July 15, with our Opening Reception that evening and ends on Friday, July 18. Tuesday, July 15, is a full day of members-only institutes.

This year's conference will be in Madison, Wisconsin!

COVID information:
We will be following CDC, state, and local guidelines for safe COVID practices. Attendees will be required to be up-to-date with COVID vaccinations as determined by the CDC.

Equitable Pricing Statement:
As we gear up for the annual Leadership Conference, we want to address the current economic situation and how it may be impacting you. With the significant impact of inflation on everyone, we understand that this can make the conference fees a challenge. We are aware of this and are doing our best to keep the pricing low.
Please note: All requests for financial assistance must be submitted in writing/via email before May 31, 2025. Our commitment to equity means offering a tiered pricing structure to ensure everyone has access to the conference's benefits.

State Partners (Member) Pricing
Our member pricing tiers are designed to accommodate the diverse budgets of Equality Federation's state partners.  

MEMBERS ONLY Budget under $500K: $400
This rate is for staff or board members of an Equality Federation state partner organization with an organizational budget of less than $500,000.

MEMBERS ONLY Budget $500K-$1M: $425
This rate is for staff or board members of an Equality Federation state partner organization with an organizational budget between $500,000 and $1 million.

MEMBERS ONLY Budget $1M-$2M: $475
This rate is for staff or board members of an Equality Federation state partner organization with an organizational budget between $1 million to $2 million.

MEMBERS ONLY Budget over $2M: $500
This rate is for staff or board members of an Equality Federation state partner organization with an organizational budget over $2 million.

Other Partners (Non-Member) Pricing
For our partners who are not state partners, including small to large national nonprofits, corporate partners, funders, and more, we have established separate tiers to cater to the varied capacities of different organizations. 

Small Organization Discounted Rate (Budget under $1M): $500
The small organization discounted rate is for staff or board members of organizations with a budget of less than $1 million.

Medium Organization Discounted Rate (Budget $1-$2M): $625
The medium organization discounted rate is for staff or board members of organizations with a budget between $1 million and $2 million.

Sustaining Rate (Budget $2M-$10M): $750
The sustaining rate is for staff or board members of a organizations with a budget between $2 million and $10 million. This is the true per-person cost to host this event. By registering at this level, you support the sustainability of Leadership Conference.

Supporting Rate (Budget over $10M): $900
The supporting rate is for funders and staff or board members of a organizations with a budget over $10 million. Supporting our work at this level allows us to offset the cost of attendance for all-volunteer organizations and small organizations.

 

When registering for the conference, please carefully review the different pricing options to ensure you select the correct tier. If you select the wrong tier, our team will reach out to you to correct the discrepancy.

COVID Safety Agreement

We will be following CDC, state, and local guidelines for safe COVID practices. Attendees will be required to be up-to-date with COVID vaccinations as determined by the CDC.

Please read the COVID Liability Waiver and check the box above to agree to all the terms outlined in the waiver, including being up-to-date with COVID vaccination as defined by the CDC.

Our collective commitment to safety and access requires serious steps toward COVID-19 mitigation before, during, and after the conference. These guidelines reflect our responsibility to protect one another, particularly those most vulnerable, and are part of a broader public health effort to reduce transmission. To support accessibility and protect our most vulnerable community members, we strongly encourage attendees to bring and wear masks. We will also provide KN95 masks on-site for those who need them.

By attending, you agree to these safety measures, including being up-to-date with COVID vaccinations as defined by the CDC.

We Protect Us. This is a space of collective care, and we ask all attendees to honor and commit to a community of collective care to create a safer, more accessible gathering for everyone.

Note: We do not offer hybrid programming at the Leadership Conference at this time.

As part of our commitment to intersectional equity, we collect general demographic information to understand who we are reaching—and who we may be missing—so we can learn, grow, and strengthen both ourselves and the movement. This also helps us anticipate attendance for identity-based events during the conference. Individual data is not shared. If you prefer not to answer, feel free to leave these questions blank.

Accessibility:
At Equality Federation, we are committed to promoting inclusivity and creating a supportive environment for all attendees. To achieve this, we have made several accessibility improvements, including providing all-gender restrooms, physical and emotional accessibility resources, fragrance-free spaces, and more.
