The Idaho legislature is moving dangerously close to passing Senate Joint Memorial No. 104, which seeks to transfer ownership and administration of the Camas National Wildlife Refuge (Camas NWR) from federal to state control. This move would ultimately jeopardize one of Idaho's most important wildlife refuges, as well as the treaty rights of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes, which would be stripped if the transfer occurs.
