Protect Vulnerable Chicagoans from Pollution

The City of Chicago has the chance to take a big step towards protecting the public health of all people with the Hazel M. Johnson Cumulative Impacts Ordinance. The ordinance would work to level the playing field between communities that have experienced the most environmental, social, and health burdens for decades. It would reform the zoning code and require a cumulative impacts study before new industrial developments receive zoning approval. We need your help to get it passed!

Tell your Alderperson to take action for Environmental Justice by passing the Hazel M. Johnson Cumulative Impacts Ordinance.

Tip: this form letter can be edited! Do you live in an industrial part of Chicago? Do you worry about air or water pollution? Tell your representatives where you live and why a healthy community matters to you.
