The San Diego Black Worker Center is hosting a series of focus groups, separated by sector, to identify key barriers, common trends, and issues the Black community face in the current workforce. The goal is to gather information and Black experiences to ensure SDBWC's future programs and campaigns are community centered and community led.
Please note all focus groups will be recorded for data collection and accurate note taking. You will be required to sign a consent form acknowledging and approving all audio and video recordings of the focus group discussion. Your personal information, including your name and individual stories will remain anonymous unless you sign an additional consent form releasing your story/quote and/or image for future movement building.
Focus groups will be held primarily in-person, following all COVID-19 protocols as well as on zoom to accommodate to different levels of accessibility.
