To Participate

By submitting your story to the "200 Stories for 200 Years" initiative, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • Originality and Ownership: You affirm that the story you submit is original, you own all rights to it, and it does not infringe on the rights of any third parties.
  • Use of Content: You grant Bexley Seabury Seminary the right to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and promote your story in any format or medium, including but not limited to digital platforms, publications, and promotional materials related to the seminary's 200th anniversary or other institutional purposes.
  • Non-Confidentiality: You understand that your submission will not be treated as confidential and may be shared with staff, alumni, and the wider community associated with Bexley Seabury Seminary.
  • Editing: You acknowledge that your story may be edited for clarity, length, or compliance with Bexley Seabury Seminary's standards and policies. Efforts will be made to maintain the integrity of your original submission.
  • Attribution: By submitting your story, you consent to the use of your name and any accompanying details (class year, relation to the seminary, etc.) to attribute your story in any publications or materials where it appears. If you prefer to remain anonymous, please indicate this preference clearly in your submission.
  • No Compensation: You understand that submitting a story does not entitle you to any form of compensation from Bexley Seabury Seminary.
  • Privacy: Personal information collected through the submission form will be used solely for the "200 Stories for 200 Years" initiative and not disclosed to third parties except as required by law.
  • Withdrawal of Submission: Should you wish to withdraw your story from the project, you may do so by contacting Bexley Seabury Seminary directly. However, please note that withdrawal is not possible after the story has been published or used in any form.
