One of the largest rescue operations we have ever mounted is currently underway in Newton County, Mississippi.

Over 100 dogs who were taken in by a local rescuer and who should have been safe, were instead cruelly abandoned and left to slowly starve, or die of untreated illnesses over months.

The scene is horrible. Skulls and skeletons of dead dogs lay all over the ground. It is sickening to think that dogs have been suffering and dying over a very long time.

It will take days of work to transport them all to safety and get the care they desperately need.
