Osceola County is in the middle of a housing state of emergency that our elected officials refuse to acknowledge: record-high evictions and rent, wealthy investors pricing our locals, and unscrupulous landlords. We need elected officials to stand up to wealthy corporate bullies who will put their profit over the lives and health of our people and planet.
Florida Rising is calling on our elected leaders in Osceola County to make it clear through their votes and policy choices that regardless of our zip code, we all have a right to the things that make us happy, healthy, and whole:
- our voice and vote;
- control our bodies;
- community-led safety;
- safe, affordable housing; and
- clean air, water, energy, and food that keeps us healthy.
We created our Osceola County Justice on Every Block platform as a call to action for our community and local leaders. Will you add your name in support of the Osceola County Justice on Every Block platform? Help us reach 500 supporters to show that we have a mandate for urgent action.
