CBE International's Katharine Bushnell Film

Demonstrate The Impact of Women's Leadership

As the largest portal of egalitarian resources, it is vital that we use all available tools to deliver the biblical message of mutuality in more relevant and relatable ways. Therefore, in collaboration with award-winning film director, writer, and producer Brandon Dickerson, CBE is creating a feature film on the life of an early Christian medical missionary, Bible translator, and anti-trafficking activist—Dr. Katharine Bushnell (1855-1946).

Your gift will help CBE develop this important film to demonstrate the impact of women's leadership through the story of Katharine Bushnell.

“Slowly, the women tell their harrowing stories, revealing the terrible secrets of the lumber camp. Kate gathers the information down in her journal, but it breaks her heart not to take the pleading women with her. She must take the proof to the authorities so ALL the women from ALL the camps might be rescued.” –Script excerpt
