Join the Fight: No New Gas and Stop Higher Energy Bills

We Energies is pushing for a massive 18.5% increase in your energy bills while planning to build expensive new gas plants in Wisconsin in Oak Creek and the town of Paris in Kenosha County. If approved, these changes will lock us into decades of higher bills and more pollution. We can't let that happen.

The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) is the state agency responsible for regulating utilities like We Energies. Their job is to ensure that utility companies provide safe, reliable, and fair services to the public. Right now, the PSC is considering whether to approve We Energies' proposal for an 18.5% rate hike and new gas plants in Oak Creek and the town of Paris in Kenosha County. The PSC has the power to vote NO and stop these harmful projects—but they need to hear from you!

Help us as we organize against new gas and rate hikes in Milwaukee. Join Citizen Action of Wisconsin, North Side Rising Co-op, Sierra Club, Action for Climate Emergency (ACE), Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), Walnut Way, and Healthy Climate Wisconsin as we come together to get the word out about the proposed rate hikes and new gas.

Register to join us, bring a friend, and turn up to help us reach others who can join the fight against pollution and We Energies greed. Volunteers and organizations will be asked to help deliver mailers with information about the proposed rate hike, gas plants, and information on how people can provide testimony against the proposals to the PSC.

Join us as we outreach in Milwaukee to inform residents and do a literature drop to the Washington Park neighborhood on September 26th between 6-8 PM.
