The Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) regulates monopoly utilities and decides how much we pay for our monthly power bills. Their decisions impact all Arizonans! 

Our elected commissioners have lost touch, raising rates on captive ratepayers, discriminating against rooftop solar owners, and doubling down on energy sources that pollute our air and drain our water resources. 

At Arizonans for a Clean Economy, we believe that ratepayers have rights that the ACC must protect. These are: 

1. The right to own: The people of Arizona have the right to own distributed energy technologies and connect them to the grid without penalty.

2. The right to earn: The people of Arizona have the right to participate in all potential markets, and be paid fairly for the energy they choose to sell.

3. The right to know: The people of Arizona have the right to access all information about how monopoly utilities provide electricity, including costs and water consumption.
