Last week, in Governor Josh Shapiro's first Budget Address, he stressed the need to invest in our kids at this critical time. However, at a time when Pennsylvania will have about $12 billion alone in reserves/additional revenues, the actual financial investments that are being proposed in his first budget far fall short of what's needed to propel our kids forward. Investing in the Commonwealth's workforce was also a large theme of his speech. Well, there's no better investment in our workforce than investing in our kids, our future workforce.
