On the one-year anniversary of the disastrous Russia-Ukraine war, we call for a ceasefire and negotiations. We condemn the Russian invasion; it must withdraw its troops. We also condemn the long series of US/NATO provocations which made Russia feel that its existence was threatened by a pro-Western Ukraine. We call on the US to stop sending advanced weapons and stop escalating the conflict. Ukraine must be neutral; the citizens of the Eastern provinces which rebelled after the illegal change of government in 2014 must be settled by their people.

In Boston, rally at Downtown Crossing, at noon on Friday, February 24, followed by a march to the JFK Federal Building where we will deliver letters and petitions to the offices of Sen. Ed Markey and Sen. Elizabeth Warren.  In Springfield, rally outside Rep. Neal's office, 300 State Street, at 12 Noon.  In Worcester, rally at Rep. McGovern's office, 12 E Worcester St, at noon.  In Northampton, rally outside Rep. McGovern's office, 74 Pleasant Street, at 4:30 pm.   In Falmouth, rally at Falmouth Village Green, Main & West Main Sts., 10am to 1pm.  In Ipswich, bottom ofbTown Hill, noon.
