The Trump Administration and US Congress are passing legislation that will gut many Medicaid services—and will prohibit Medicaid funding for gender-affirming care for trans youth and adults. That means that trans folks who use the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) for insurance are in danger of losing coverage for necessary, life-saving and life-changing healthcare. 

Lawmakers in Salem are currently working on the next biannual Oregon state budget. The time is NOW to make sure they cover this gap in healthcare coverage in the state budget, so that trans Oregonians can continue to access affordable gender-affirming care.
