![]() After an extensive search during the past 6 months, the Lawrence Township School Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Jen Gibbs has accepted the position of Executive Director, effective January 31, 2022.
Jen comes to the Lawrence Township School Foundation (LTSF) with a tremendous energy because it embodies the work of building human capacity, a prevalent theme throughout her personal and professional life. From her years as an elementary teacher, to a professional development coach for the Indiana Department of Education, to most recently as the Senior Pastor at Castleton United Methodist Church, she strives to empower people to grow in confidence and to help them achieve more than they thought possible. Jen shared, “To marry my non-profit leadership with my passion for and experience with public education is ideal. I first became an educator to ensure that all kids could reach their full potential. To do this work in Lawrence Township, a school district I have come to love these last few years, is exciting.”
“Throughout the interview process, it became clear that Jen is a perfect fit for LTSF and that she has a strong understanding of our mission and vision,” confirmed Angie McIntyre, LTSF Executive Director of Operations.
She has been called teacher, coach, and pastor. But she really loves being called “mom” by her 12-year-old son. Both are Hoosiers, love basketball and find chocolate to be an acceptable food group. In her spare time she is a hiking enthusiast, a lover of story (books, movies, or a tall tale), as well as a devotee to health and the power of possibility!
“Jen’s unique experience and ability to tell the LTSF story and to connect with our community will be instrumental as we strive to impact more students and fund additional programs. We are delighted to welcome her to LTSF and the LT School community,” stated Board President Barb Austin.

When we talk about impact, we’re referring to what your gifts enable. For example, some students need school supplies, some need a ride home when they participate in afterschool clubs, while others can envision their futures after visiting college campuses. That’s LTSF’s mission – to connect resources for all students to excel.
As you are giving this holiday season, please consider adding the Lawrence Township School Foundation to your gift list. It is the power of community that makes so much possible! YOU are powerful! LTSF is powerful because of YOU! ![]()
