Hello folks!

For this week’s update, we want to give you concrete events to sign up for and put on your calendar. You can also get up-to-date information on our UU Justice PA UUtheVote page. 
  
Voter Contact Events:

  • This Saturday and Sunday: Voter Registration Textbank with CASA: Saturday, 9/12 from 10-1 and Sunday 9/13 from 2-5pm. Sign up here and please download the Hustle app on your phone prior to the textbank - you’ll then get trained at the beginning of the session.
  • Every Monday, 4-8pm: Voter Registration Textbank with Pennsylvania Stands Up (central PA). Sign up here. This uses Spoke - you can jump on in or first attend a full training any Tuesday from 5-6pm. Text training sign up is here.
  • Every Thursday, 4-8pm: Voter Registration Phonebank with Pennsylvania Stands Up. Sign up here. This uses Thrutalk - you can jump on in or first attend a full training any Wednesday from 4-5pm. Calls training sign up is here.

Upcoming Events Starting 9/20
     Regular Sunday Phone and textbanking with CASA and PA Stands Up (Central PA)
    Regular Tuesday and Thursday phonebanks with POWER (Philadelphia)
    Regular Thursday phonebanks with PAUNITED (Pittsburgh and Western PA)

By next week, we will have sign ups for all these events and more at uuthevote.org.

Especially for Leaders:

  • Thursday 9/17 Team Leaders Gathering: If you are a congregational team leader and have not yet been invited to our Team Leaders (and ministers/religious professionals) gathering 9/17, please reach out to Cathy for the details.
  • Sept 22nd - Worship to #VoteLove, #DefeatHate: Organizing for the Long Haul Resources will be released. Here is more info and the sign up form 
  • Wednesday, September 23rd, 7:30pm -  Gather to Spirit, our next virtual mass mobilization with UUtheVote nationally.

Phonebank Leader Squad: Join us!
Are you interested in getting trained to run a phonebank or want to help with phonebank or textbank support? Do you have basic zoom skills and/or are comfortable in Thrutalk, Hustle, or Spoke?  If so, we would love your help in 2-3 phonebanks in the coming weeks!  Please let Cathy know if you can help!
