Come learn how to collect signatures in support of Alliance for Police Accountability (APA)?s ballot initiative to limit solitary confinement at the Allegheny County Jail! Neighborhood Captains and Neighborhood Deputies will use a voter list of their neighborhood and their personal connections to collect 50 or 25 signatures, respectively. There is no way we can win the Pennsylvania we want without organizing suburban Allegheny voters. Many white suburban voters have been sold the lie that they share more in common with the 1% than with the Black, Brown, and white working class people who are disproportionately caged in Allegheny County Jail, who are working for starvation wages, and who are hardest hit by the COVID crisis. Become a Neighborhood Captain/Deputy to build multi-racial power to change that.
