Motivated by her groundbreaking work, we have seen the growth and acceptance of hospice and palliative care. While we benefit from living longer, we can also suffer longer, unprepared for the ethical and personal decisions required at the end of our lives. Loretta Downs will moderate this panel discussion on some of the critical issues in the contemporary end-of-life experience. In attendance will be: Loretta Downs, Kim Callinan, Rev. Myron Erickson and Professor Peter Steeves.
