Join us for an event! Pass the Prison and Jail Construction Moratorium NOW!

We're so excited to work with you to Pass the Prison and Jail Construction Moratorium Bill and Stop the New Women's Prison! These are critical steps in the larger movement to end the incarceration of women and girls led by Families for Justice as Healing and The National Council for Incarcerated and Formerly Incarcerated Women and Girls. Together, we will make it happen. We have in-person events planned in key districts, virtual events, and campaign work that we can plug you into. Thank you so much and looking forward to seeing you soon!

Decarcerate Middlesex County Town Hall Community Event October 12, 2022 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM ET Join Families for Justice as Healing, The National Council for Incarcerated and Formerly Incarcerated Women and Girls, and women from across Middlesex County, Massachusetts for our second Town Hall for our campaign to decarcerate Middlesex County. Hear updates on the where the campaign is headed since our first town hall. When women in Middlesex are held pre-trial and sentenced, they are incarcerated at MCI-Framingham. District Attorneys have a variety of tools at their disposal to release women—they can stop requesting bail and they can recommend community-based diversion and sentencing. We have an opportunity to create real change in Middlesex! Let's come together to talk about what different looks like and how we get there—on a hyper-local level. This Town Hall will be an opportunity to learn about incarceration in Middlesex County, learn about our campaign, and get more involved.
