St. Luke "Community" UMC Block Walk Canvass October 13, 2024 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM CT St. Luke "Community" United Methodist Church, 5710 E R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75223 Join the St. Luke "Community" UMC Block Walk on Sunday, October 13th at 11:30am! We will have a brief safety training and will then knock on doors in the surrounding neighborhoods to increase voter turnout for the upcoming election. Water and snacks will be provided.

We equip volunteers with the information and materials that will be needed to protect voting rights and support Black political participation. We're better together as we contact underrepresented voters! We will be calling voters in Tarrant County using the Center for Common Ground's tool. We start with some spiritual grounding, then we will provide training/orientation so there is NO experience necessary. Just a desire to work for a multi-racial democracy where we can ALL thrive.
