MA-WMA-Library panel Presentation November 3, 2021 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM ET Emily Williston Memorial Library, 9 Park St, Easthampton, MA 01027 "We are in this Together, Understanding Gun Violence in our Sister Communities" will be presented as a panel comprised of members of the Nonviolent Springfield Coalition. The program will look at gun violence by the numbers in the United States and specifically Holyoke and Springfield as well as recent actions in these communities. The panelists will discuss the root causes, ongoing effects of gun violence and legislation currently before the Commonwealth and the federal government. Each participant will describe 2-3 actions that those in the audience can take to participate in important change. This program is supported by the Easthampton Cultural Council and the Mass Cultural Council.
