In our second bargaining session, we made some progress on proposing improvements to our union contract. 

Your bargaining team proposed:

• Safe respite periods for on-call Nurses
• Increases to standby pay
• More union bulletin boards to improve communication

Management proposed:

Changing the call-off process so that staff Nurses would be called off before some outside travelers. 

Proposed changes like this — that would diminish working conditions for union members — are part of the reason why we need to all stay engaged and united in the bargaining process!
