The work of BVM boosts Black turnout in elections at every level. BVM goes to places that national politics don’t know about—or care about—but where many Black voters live. The group’s on-the-ground work pushed Doug Jones’s run over the finish line to become the first Democratic Senator elected in Alabama in over 27 years.
