We will be signing up those who are interested in joining us. We will have several shifts to choose from: 10:00-2:00; 2:00-4:00; and 4:00-7:00. IL - Chicago NW Side - City Gun Violence Conversation Meeting July 9, 2022 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM CT Independence Park, 3945 N Springfield Ave, Chicago, IL 60618 In collaboration with state Rep. Lindsey LaPointe, who has organized a series of gun violence prevention listening tours, our NW side group will host this event on Saturday, July 9 from 10:30 AM to noon at the Independence Park fieldhouse, 3945 N. Springfield. We'll discuss what we learned from these listening tours and consider how we, both as Moms Demand Action Chicago NW and as individual community members, can best support local Gun Violence Prevention organizations, advocate for funding, influence public sentiment, promote policy changes, and more.

CO-Columbine SW Metro-Greenwood Village City Council Meeting Meeting July 11, 2022 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM MT Greenwood Village City Hall, 6060 S Quebec St, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 We need you here! Last month, in the first reading, the Greenwood City Council ruled in our favor concerning allowing commercial gun sale locations in a residential neighborhood. HOWEVER, the gun dealer warned he might bring more people from his side to the second reading, where it must pass to become law. We definitely need the numbers, especially wearing red shirts, so please join us to help get this passed.
