KS-Winfield-Wear Orange Donation Drive Wear Orange May 3, 2022 9:00 AM - June 3, 2022 9:00 AM ET Grace United Methodist Church, 320 College St, Winfield, KS 67156 We will be collecting supplies for our local Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center throughout the month of May to be donated on Wear Orange Weekend in honor of survivors and victims of domestic gun violence.

CO-Denver-Be SMART Table at Gun Buyback Visibility May 21, 2022 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM MT Platt Park Church, 1601 S Clarkson St, Denver, CO 80210 Aurora & Denver are hosting a series of gun buyback events followed by a program focused on survivors and a demonstration by RAWtools, an organization that turns guns into garden tools. We'll be tabling during the afternoon program. CO-Broomfield-Westminster City Council Proclamation Visibility May 23, 2022 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM MT Westminster City Hall, 4800 W 92nd Ave, Westminster, CO 80031 Westminster City Council Meeting: Proclamation Reading Wear your Red or Orange Shirts to the Westminster City Council Meeting. Councilmember Obi Ezeadi worked very hard with his council colleagues to rewrite the National Gun Violence Awareness Proclamation for Westminster City Council to unanimously approve. It is a hard-fought compromise and focuses on firearm suicide, which is a serious problem that needs more attention and less stigma. Please let us know if you are able to join, as we would like to show Obi support and the Council that their constituents want common sense gun reform in Westminster.

WI-Metro Milwaukee-Wear Orange Memorial Submission Wear Orange May 25, 2022 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM ET Drive-Through Memorial, Center Street & Sherman Blvd, Milwaukee, WI 53210 Wear Orange Weekend (June 3-5, 2022) is a time when we come together to honor the victims of gun violence in our community and support gun violence survivors. The Metro Milwaukee Moms Demand Action group, along with community partners and gun violence prevention organizations, is planning to host a drive-through memorial on Saturday June 4 and Sunday June 5, displaying signs with photographs of Milwaukee residents who have been shot and killed in the city. If you have lost a family member to gun violence and would like to have that person honored in our memorial, please fill out the information and we will contact you with more details and instructions for submitting a photo for the memorial. Close-up or profile photos of your loved one is preferred and photo submissions will need to be emailed by Wednesday, May 25th.
