SAVE x Equality FL - SATURDAY - BROWARD - Canvass Re-Election of School Board Member Sarah Leonardi July 27, 2024 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM ET Equality Florida Office Sarah Leonardi, a former teacher with nearly a decade of experience, has been a strong advocate for student voices, academic freedom, and safer schools during her tenure on the Broward School Board. As part of her re-election campaign, SAVE LGBT is organizing a door-to-door canvassing effort. Canvassing involves volunteers going through neighborhoods, engaging in conversations with voters, and discussing the issues that matter most to our community. By connecting with residents, we strengthen bonds and reaffirm our commitment to progress. During this event, volunteers will assist residents in making a voting plan, ensuring everyone has the chance to vote, no matter where they are. The day will conclude with a press conference featuring SAVE Executive Director Todd Delmay, Equality Florida representatives, and the candidate herself. It's more than a campaign; it's a movement toward a brighter, more inclusive future.
