This event, held in observance of Children's Mental Health Awareness Month, aims to bring attention to the unique challenges faced by young individuals and their families in accessing mental health services. We will walk as a group, or you can choose to run the 5K if you prefer. There is no fee to participate in the walk, but individual donations to Change Me Foundation are encouraged. We’ll stand together outside the NRA Convention in Dallas to demand that gun industry executives reform their business practices and take responsibility for their role in our gun violence epidemic.

The funds will be used toward creating a Pine Hills Community Healing Garden. The garden will recognize individuals lost to gun violence and a place for survivors to reflect, nurture growth, and heal – and it will serve as a peaceful place of unity for people from the community to come and relieve stress.” Moms Demand volunteers are invited to share in the implementation of the garden by assisting with preparing the site and planting. Some items needed are garden gloves, rakes, shovels, and hoes you can bring.
