Many immigrants today are at risk of being deported quickly and without the legal protections they deserve, as expedited removal policies can bypass due process and deny individuals a fair hearing or access to legal counsel. In these challenging times, understanding your rights and how to defend yourself and your loved ones is essential.
We invite you to our Community Defense Workshop on Wednesday, June 11th, at 8:00 PM ET (7:00 PM CT / 5:00 PM PT). This 90-minute virtual session will cover the basics of due process, your rights if detained, and practical steps you can take if you or someone you know faces detention or deportation. You'll also learn about the immigration court system and how to advocate for yourself, even before you have legal representation.
Our goal is for every participant to leave with the knowledge and confidence needed to protect themselves and their families. The workshop will be offered in Korean and English.
