Members of Congress have just released bold legislation to reject and defund Israeli annexation, following a policy letter publicly calling to end funding for Israeli apartheid. This is a historic moment fueled by your organizing and movement building.
But we can't stop here.
Israel continues to threaten to formalize annexation. And we need to see more legislative action in Congress to hold Israel accountable. It's time for lawmakers to stop funding U.S. militarism both at home and abroad. We demand that the U.S. divest from state-sanctioned violence, starting with ending military funding to Israel and defunding the police.
As the Movement for Black Lives has shown us, we know a better world is possible when these funds are instead invested in healthcare for all, real safety for our communities, education, housing, and environmental justice.
Join us in demanding that Congress support legislation to end the $3.8 billion in military funding to Israel every year.
