We are calling on House GOP Leaders Lisa Demuth and Harry Niska to follow the leadership of the Senate and follow the power-sharing agreement that was mutually agreed upon back in November. Pro-Choice Minnesota stands in solidarity with the DFL House Caucus members who are currently "striking." We need your help as Pro-Choice Minnesota members to help show your support. 

Rather than wondering why DFL members are not "showing up to work," ask: why aren't GOP members following a power-sharing agreement like their colleagues in the Senate? Why is the Minnesota GOP trying to instal an illegitimate Speaker of the House? The results of the November 5th, 2024 elections were clear: Minnesotans elected a bipartisan House of Representatives (67 DFL and 67 GOP). Instead of getting back to work for Minnesotans, House Republicans are manipulating the system to their own political advantage. We know that they simply see an opportunity to halt our momentum and bring us backwards, and we will not let them.
