AWHC just filed suit against the Bureau of Land Management in federal court

We're in court to stop the BLM from subjecting federally-protected wild mares that were just rounded up from the Confusion Herd Management Area (HMA) in eastern Utah to inhumane sterilization procedures despite scientifically-proven, cost-effective, humane alternatives. Three times in the last four years, AWHC and our coalition partners have filed lawsuits to successfully block the BLM from using these procedures on wild horses in Oregon.
