The Micah Center is a faith-rooted organization that works to educate community members about the injustices that exist in our community, why they exist, and how to take action to change them, and to engage community members in taking real action to make concrete change.
We coordinate advocacy groups that work for public policies that advance the cause of justice including Beyond Prisons, Worker Rights/Immigration, Housing, and Fair Lending, and we offer a monthly, free public presentation by an issue expert on a current justice issue for you to learn and connect.
Our work is based on the call of Micah 6:8 “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
Join us and let's do justice!
