CSG welcomes interested individuals to become a part of our volunteer corps, a group of smart growth supporters who help us with policy and advocacy, covering community meetings and hearings on our behalf and help us staff our spring and fall fundraising events, walking tours and forums, and other events.

What kind of volunteer opportunities are you most interested in?

Meeting Support: We'll identify meetings that volunteers can attend in lieu of a staff member. All you have to do is pay attention, take notes, and email them to CSG! This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in getting more involved in smart growth policy and advocacy.

Event Support: We have several volunteer opportunities in the spring and fall, helping us staff our Walking Tours & Forums Series, as well as our major spring and fall fundraising events – the Livable Communities Leadership Award and Smart Growth Social. When we're in need of volunteers for an event, we'll reach out! Event volunteers typically get free admission and food and drink.
