URGENT ACTION NEEDED: LIHEAP GUTTED – 56,000 WV HOUSEHOLDS RISK LOSING UTILITY BILL HELP

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) made the shocking decision to fire everyone working on the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), which helps low-income Americans pay their energy bills.  

Urge Senators Shelley Moore Capito and Jim Justice to take action to protect vulnerable individuals and families in jeopardy of losing vital assistance to maintain safe living conditions before summer heat moves into the state. 

In West Virginia 56,108 households relied on LIHEAP last year to keep their heat on - Protect our citizens and save LIHEAP.
