Welcome to the Young Feminist Party! 💥☂️

The Young Feminist Party, is the political home for young feminists in the United States. We are building a powerful movement of young people, from communities and campuses across the country, to finalize the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) and advance gender justice for all. Learn more about our movement here. 

The Young Feminist Party is a membership-based organization. Events and actions are open to everyone, regardless of membership status; however, if you are down with the movement and want to take sustained action with us, we encourage you to become an official member of the Young Feminist Party. As a member, not only will you receive access to movement resources, communication channels, and organizing opportunities, but you also become eligible to vote and run in our movement elections. As a democratic organization, our members directly vote on leadership, campaigns, and actions. While official membership and voter eligibility is capped at people under 30 years old, everyone is able to complete this form. If you are over 30, we will keep you in the loop with ways you can support.

It is critical that all organizers, old and new, fill out this membership form. We will ask all members to renew their membership annually to keep our data accurate. Don't stress, we will conduct an abundance of outreach to ensure you stay a member if you still want to build with us. 

While demographic questions are optional, they are encouraged. This data informs our big picture movement processes and goals–including if we are building the multiracial, cross-class movement we need to advance gender justice for all. Although the data will not be analyzed on the individual level in any way, we may reach out with opportunities, actions, and supports specific to folks a certain identity, like sharing projects of one of our identity-based working groups or amplifying a grant specific to working-class organizers.
