Urge Congress to Protect Access to Contraception
Urge Congress to Protect Access to Contraception

When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, it paved the way for restrictions on routine, safe health care such as contraception. In June 2023, Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) and Rep. Kathy Manning (D-NC) reintroduced the Right to Contraception Act, which would:

  • Codify the right to access and use contraception;
  • Protect health care providers who offer contraceptive services and information; and
  • Prohibit state and federal governments from enforcing a ban or restriction on contraceptive access.

Republicans refuse to bring it to the floor for a vote. We must ensure Congress protects our rights and safeguards access to critical health care services. Sign here to urge your Members of Congress to take action and pass the Right to Contraception Act.
