Relational organizing is defined as “preparing & supporting people to bring the power within their existing relationships to affect change.” In actuality is it turning a contact into a conversation and then into a person empowered to create change where they live. 

By starting our relational organizing process with the people closest to us, we build networks based on the mutual respect held by family, friends and contacts towards us and our volunteer leaders.

As the relational team met new people, we leaned in to understand more about each person, their passions and their openness to becoming a leader within their personal network. We developed relationships with many people in 2024, with a goal of keeping them active in the years to come.
