Thanks to an anonymous donor, for the entire month of May we are able to match up to $10,000 in donations in support of PEC's project to restore aquatic habitat and water quality at Bolton Branch, a native Eastern brook trout stream originating in Shenandoah National Park near Huntly, Virginia in Rappahannock County. This project is a high priority, as it will remove the last remaining barrier to fish passage on Bolton Branch and will reconnect over two miles of upstream habitat for brook trout, American eels, and other freshwater organisms that rely on cold, clean, and connected waterways.
This match is also being offered in the select Orvis retail stores! From May 1 to May 31, as a part of Orvis's Giveback Days campaign, store customers at select locations* will be asked to make a gift of $10 or more to PEC with their purchase. If you choose to donate in-store, you will receive a $10 coupon for your next purchase in honor of Orvis's Giveback Days.
Whether you donate online on PEC's website or at an Orvis retail location, your gift will be matched 100% until we reach our match goal of $10,000! Thank you to our anonymous donor for making this amazing opportunity possible!
