Mi Familia Vota Democracy Fellows Program: Arizona

Thank you for your interest in applying for the Mi Familia Vota Democracy Fellows Program! The MFV Team is excited to learn more about your civic engagement journey, and find out how our organization can best support you in your goal of supporting your community, family, and yourself.

Program Overview
The MFV Democracy Fellows Program is an opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to take part in real-world experiences related to the field of civic engagement. Our Democracy Fellows will be provided with enriching opportunities, vast networks, and a strong base of support from Mi Familia Vota - ultimately, we want each Democracy Fellow to become the leaders of our future! As Mi Familia Vota continues to advocate in our four issue areas - immigration, education equity, democracy defense, and environmental justice - we hope to provide students a platform to join along our efforts and learn more about why our organization is so focused on addressing these challenges in our society.

The program ranges from January through May of 2024. We expect students to commit to the full length of the program.

The program will consist of 2 monthly virtual workshops where students will be able to engage with an expert that works in the unique issue area being covered each month. Additionally, students will be asked to meet with the Mi Familia Vota team in-person in our Phoenix office once a month for an in-person workshop and activity session.
