I’m an avid outdoor enthusiast writing to ask for your support on a number of efforts to improve access to the outdoors. Everyone in America deserves to have access to safe and sustainable outdoor experiences.

I support the following efforts, and hope you will, too:

Environmental Justice for All Act - I acknowledge that underserved communities lack access to recreation opportunities, green spaces, and are disproportionately affected by pollution and environmental hazards. I support access to clean air, water, and outdoor recreation opportunities for low-income, communities of color, and Indigenous communities. I was glad to see this bill voted out of committee in the House recently, and hope to see it get floor time.

The Outdoors for All Act – I support improving outdoor recreation opportunities in underserved communities. All Americans deserve to have accessible green spaces.

Transit to Trails Act – I support making existing public lands more available to local communities that lack good access to green spaces, helping to ensure that public lands are not just available, but accessible to everyone in America.

These bills are important to me because they make sure the outdoors are accessible not just for me, but for all Americans.
