Protect Indiana's Water Quality - Say NO to HB 1037

If water quality in your community is important to you – please join Hoosier Environmental Council in opposing HB 1037, a bill that undermines local communities' ability to protect themselves from runoff from construction sites less than 1 acre in size. Sediment is one of Indiana's greatest water quality challenges.  Did you know the great majority of Indiana's lakes, streams and rivers are considered “impaired” or unfit for swimming or fishing? This bill just piles on to that problem!  Take action today and tell your Senator to vote “NO” on HB 1037!
