From the moment Trump took office, his administration's slash-and-burn and cruel approach to governing has affected nearly every community across the country. From small-town school boards to large city-councils, local governments have been the first to see people lose jobs, families struggling to put food on the table, and neighbors taken from their homes. For every Head Start program that was cancelled or food pantry that was defunded, there's a local elected official who heard of this devastation firsthand from their constituents. To fight back against Trump's divisive agenda, we need to know what's happening on the ground.
