Take Action Now to Protect Westmoreland Votes
We, the undersigned citizens of Westmoreland County, are concerned that the mail ballot error by the County Commissioners is putting our right to vote at risk. We had been assured by the County Commissioners that mail-in ballots had been sent out on October 3rd. Last night, the Tribune Review reported that no ballots have been mailed out yet. Throughout our history, generations of Americans have come together to make a future where our voices are heard and rights are respected. Regardless of our County Commissioners or policy changes at the US Postal Service, this election needs to be no exception.

Therefore, we demand that ballot drop boxes be placed in all regions of the County so that when ballots are finally received they can be turned in as soon as possible. We demand that at least 6 drop boxes be placed in different parts of the County and be available for voters to drop off their ballots from 8 AM until 8 PM every day until the election. We believe that drop boxes should be located in Monessen, New Kensington, Mt. Pleasant, Rostraver, Latrobe and Ligonier.
