What is a Community POWERED Voting System™

A system that will allow the FRESH START community to cast a virtual vote on important issues like access to free Drivers Education for every student, prioritizing the mental well being of students and families, rebuilding Careers and Technical Education courses, reimagining safe communities, creating great career opportunities, within disinvested communities and funding healthy class sizes with no more than 15 students to 1 teacher for optimal growth and classroom culture.

How Will It Work

Community members will complete a simple registration process to become a Community Voter™. Community Voters will be notified and receive information that provides both sides of the issue. Keep in mind that the Yes FRESH START Project will unapologetically make everyone aware of where we stand on the issue, but Community Voters will have the right to vote either way and share their input on either side. Community Voters will receive a Once the Virtual Community Polls open, the voting will begin and Yes FRESH START Project leaders will send the Community POWERED voting results to the decision makers. Voters may keep their own scorecard of how they feel about the decision and Yes FRESH START Project leaders will encourage the community to thank the decision makers who considered your concerns as they developed policies that impact your families, friends, and loved ones.

Community Voters Registration in a Nutshell 

As applicants complete their simple registration process, they become Community Voters within the FRESH START community. Community Voters will receive a temporary Community Voter ID number via email. Once Community Voters are verified, they will receive a Verified Community Voter ID card. When an important issue arises, Community Voters will receive a password to cast their one vote time on the issue. Community POWERED Polling results
